Translate english into spanish widget for website En Español
I was surfing for hours the other day looking for an english to spanish translation widget. Come to find out most of the translate widgets on the Internet are all set up with different country flags and too many languages!
I can’t depend on Spanish speakers in the Americas to click on Spain’s flag for a translation. The majority of Spanish speakers do not even live in Spain! Also on the popular translator widget Spain’s flag was not even working! My target audience is only English and Spanish speakers and the flag widget is not going to help me with my needs.
So i had to create my own widget with help from Google that would be easy for Spanish speakers to read my website. This widget works way too good to keep to myself and thought i would pass it on to similar webmasters who are trying to reach out to the huge Hispanic population that maybe visiting their sites.
click on this link copy and paste this piece of code into your website.
I made the En Español button big enough to see but not huge where it is taking up a bunch of space. I think it is the right balance and obviously i have it first on my blogs side window so i wont lose my Spanish speakers attention.
This is super easy to set up just copy and paste the code onto the top of your webpage and now you will have an easy way to keep your Spanish speakers involved on your website.
If you been looking for a way to reach out to Latin america you will fall in love with this widget. No need to buy another domain and pay somebody tons of money to translate your whole website.
In the future I may make a Spanish to English widget if the demand is strong enough for it. Let me know how this translator is working out for you? Hopefully it will get your Spanish readers more involved in your website and ultimately converting more of your products and services.
Some people may think it might be a bit too big or maybe even needs to be bigger! Let me know if you need a smaller or bigger size. Also the colors may not be exactly how you want that might be a bit harder for me to fix for you though if you really need a different set of colors i might be willing to work out something with you. I know some people are really picky about size and colors. The most important thing though is function! Works like a charm and sticks out while not taking up a bunch of space on your website.
